Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College
R.L.S.Y. College, Bakhtiyarpur initiated its journey in the year 1964. A great Visionary, a great politician Late Sri Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav assisted by local educationists and people of this area started this college. It is situated on the bank of the Ganges and beautiful natural surroundings, block level town and well maintained communication system-road and rail linking the capital, Patna. Going back to the history of the college, it is interesting to note that at that time teachers & Staffs were so keen to establish the college in good tune. It was the true labour and sincerity of the teachers and staffs bore the fruits. In course of time it got the affiliation in Hons. Subjects and post Graduate Classes. Firstly it got the affiliation in four subjects namely Chemistry, Philosophy, Hindi, Economics at post Graduate level.
